Thursday
Thursday is one of the best days of the week for a Jimoke. It is the last full practice of the week and it marks the beginning of game preparations. After practice, we had the peaches picked for Saturday's game. The peaches refer to the game balls. We are allowed to have six balls used for the game; all picked out of the balls we use in practice every day. Every Thursday, the starting QB and the special teams players pick out the balls. One of which becomes the official kicking ball, while the other five are used in the other aspects of the game.
